MINUTE ORDER. At today's hearing on Petitioner's pending petition for writ of habeas corpus (Dkt. No. 1 ), the Court requested supplemental briefing from the parties. The Court ORDERS: 1. Petitioner shall provide supplemental briefing no later than May 13, 2026. The supplemental briefing should address whether Zadvydas v. Davis, 533 U.S. 678 (2001) applies; what effect, if any, Prieto-Romero v. Clark, 534 F.3d 1053 (9th Cir. 2008) has on the Zadvydas argument; and whether due process requires a bond hearing as a result of Petitioners alleged prolonged detention. 2. Respondent shall file a response no later than May 20, 2026. 3. Petitioner shall file a reply no later than May 22, 2026. 4. The parties shall file a copy of Petitioner's I-871 Notice of Intent/Decision to Reinstate Prior Order of Removal for the Courts records. 5.
