TEXT ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: It is ORDERED that Respondents appear before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York on April 28, 2026, at 9 AM, via video and SHOW CAUSE why the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus should not be granted. It is FURTHER ORDERED: (1) that Respondents are enjoined from moving Petitioner outside the jurisdiction of the Northern District of New York until this civil action is resolved; (2) that Respondents file a response to the Petition no later than Wednesday, April 8, 2026; (3) that Petitioner shall file a reply, if any, by Monday, April 13, 2026; (4) that Petitioner shall serve the Warden, Broome County Correctional Facility with the Petition and this Order to Show Cause by April 6, 2026 and file a certificate of service by April 8, 2026; and (5) that the Clerk of the Court shall serve copies of this Order to Show Cause and the Petition upon the United States Attorney for the Northern District of New York in accordance with the Local Rules.
