PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS MATTER is before the Court on Petitioner's pro se "Motion to Take Judicial Notice of Matters of Public Record" (DE 11 ) ("Motion"), requesting that the Court take judicial notice of the of the "USCIS Policy Manual" available on-line and Petitioner's "USCIS file No. A-204984846." Other than the excerpt of records from Petitioner's immigration file, provided by Respondent in support of the response to the 28 U.S.C. § 2241 Petition, Petitioner has not alleged what additional documents from her immigration file are necessary to resolution of her petition, and the Court could not ascertain whether Petitioner's immigration file is "a matter of public record." The USCIS Policy Manual is available on-line, however, Petitioner does not identify what portions of the Manual are relevant or necessary for resolution of this § 2241 Petition. Absent a showing that the records are necessary for resolution of the 28 U.S.C. § 2241 Petition, and after review of the motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and relevant authorities, it is ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that Petitioner's Notice (DE 11 ) is GRANTED IN PART, to the extent the Court takes judicial notice of the USCIS Policy Manual available on-line, and DENIED to the extent Petitioner requests that the Court take judicial notice of her immigration file.
