MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Percy Anderson: COURT ORDER.Petitioner Duoc Van Nguyen, who is proceeding pro se, filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus Under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 on March 30, 2026. Along with his Petition, Petitioner filed a Motion for a Preliminary Injunction and for a Temporary Restraining Order ("TRO Motion"). (Docket No. 5 .) Considering Petitioner's pro se status, and in light of Petitioners failure to satisfy the requirements for ex parte relief, the Court will construe Petitioners filing as a noticed Motion for a Preliminary Injunction ("Motion"). The Court hereby sets the following briefing schedule: Respondents Opposition to the Motion, if any, shall be filed by no later than April 20, 2026. Petitioner's Reply, if any, shall be filed by no later than April 27, 2026. After that date, the Motion will be deemed under submission. The Court will notify the parties of the Court's resolution of the Motion or the date and time of a hearing should the Court conclude that ahearing will aid in its disposition of the Motion. The clerk is ordered to provide a copy of this order to government counsel.
