Minute Entry for proceedings held before District Judge Ann Marie McIff Allen: Status Conference held on 3/30/2026. All parties are present by Zoom video conference. Government confirmed that Petitioner was still in this district, as he was when he filed his habeas petition. The government advised however, that Petitioner would imminently be transferred to a detention facility in California City, California. Based on the stipulation of the parties, the Court Orders a) restrains Respondents from removing Petitioner from the United States pending further order from this Court. b) Respondents must provide Petitioner remote and personal access to counsel. c) The government must provide notice to Petitioners counsel of Petitioners whereabouts by 12:00 p.m. on April 1, 2026. Respondents are Ordered to Show Cause why petitioner's request for a writ of habeas corpus should not be granted by April 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Petitioners reply shall be filed by April 8, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. After briefing is complete, the Court will set a hearing on the petition as needed.
