#10
May 18, 2026
MINUTE ORDER (Text Only Entry) signed by District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston on 5/18/2026: The Court has reviewed request for emergency injunctive relief (Doc. 9 ). Petitioner (A File #: 240-519-358) asserts that he has been detained more than three months (Doc. 9 at 2). He does not explain his delay in seeking his request for a temporary restraining order or why despite this delay, the Court should treat the situation as an emergency. Likewise, though the caption of his pleading calls the filing a "Motion to Request Temporary Restraining Order,: he makes no attempt to meet the standards for a TRO. Instead, it appears that the filing is his traverse to the answer to the petition for habeas corpus. (Doc. 9 ) Thus, the TRO request is untimely and fails to demonstrate that a TRO should issue, so it is DENIED. Local Rule 231(b). (Deputy Clerk YV) (Entered: 05/18/2026)
