Calabretta on 3/17/2026: The Court has reviewed Petitioner's Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus (ECF No. 1 ) and Motion for Temporary Restraining Order (ECF No. 2 ). The Court intends to rule directly on the claims raised in the underlying 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus that overlap with those addressed in the 2 Motion for Temporary Restraining Order, with the understanding that the Court will also consider any arguments made and exhibits submitted in support of the Motion. Respondents shall file any Opposition to the Motion for Temporary Restraining Order on or before March 20, 2026. The matter is not set for a hearing though the Court may set one should it later be determined that a hearing is necessary. The Clerk of the Court shall serve a copy of this Order together with a copy of Petitioner's 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241 and the 2 Motion for Temporary Restraining Order on the United States Attorney.
