(IN CHAMBERS) TEXT-ONLY ENTRY by Magistrate Judge A. Joel Richlin: The Court is in receipt of Respondents' Notice of Lack of Jurisdiction. (Dkt. 6 .) According to Respondents, Petitioner has never been detained at the Adelanto Detention Facility located in the Central District of California and instead was detained at the California City Ice Processing Center in the Eastern District of California at the time the Petition was filed. (Id.) Unless Petitioner presents evidence to contradict these jurisdictional facts, the Court intends to promptly transfer this action to the Eastern District of California. Petitioner has until March 11, 2026 to file a response. However, if Petitioner does not oppose transfer, the Court requests that Petitioner file a response notifying the Court so that transfer can be effectuated promptly.
