ELECTRONIC ORDER AND NOTICE OF DEFICIENCY: The Court has reviewed the Application for Admission Pro Hac Vice 2 filed by Leonard Gendelberg, counsel for petitioner. The application is deficient and cannot be processed for the following reasons:(1) The application seeks admission to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas rather than the Northern District of Texas, where the case is pending. Local Rule 83.9(b) (2) Ruby Powers, the attorney identified as co-counsel, is not admitted to practice in the Northern District of Texas, as required by local rule N.D. Tex. L. Civ. R. 83.10(a). Local counsel must be authorized to present and argue a party's position at any hearing called by the presiding judge and be able to perform, on behalf of such party, other duties required by the presiding judge or the Court's local rules. N.D. Tex. L. Civ. R. 83.10(b).Because the required filing fee has been paid, the Court ORDERS counsel to file a corrected Application for Admission Pro Hac Vice that complies with local rules and designate local counsel by March 30, 2026.
