ELECTRONIC TRANSFER ORDER: Douglas Diosmar Cardenas Bermudez, an ICE detainee confined in the Eden Detention Center in Concho County, Texas (ECF No. 1 at 1, 3) filed a counseled petition under 28 U.S.C. §2241 challenging his continued detention under the Fifth Amendment, the Administrative Procedure Act, the Immigration and Nationality Act, and federal regulations. Because § 2241 petitions must be filed in the division where the petitioner is confined, venue is improper in this division. Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1406(a), and in the interest of justice, the Court TRANSFERS this case to the San Angelo Division of the Northern District of Texas. 28 U.S.C. § 124(a)(4); N.D. Tex. Misc. Order No. 6 ("[M]agistrate judges are authorized...to sign orders transferring cases filed by prisoners...to the proper or more appropriate district or division."); Ali v. Garland, 2022 WL 1308523, at *1 (N.D. Tex. Apr. 7, 2022), rec. accepted 2022 WL 1307848 (N.D. Tex.
