TEXT ORDER - The Court has reviewed the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241 filed by Petitioner, Juan Evangelista Bravo-Torres, who is presently detained at the Delaney Hall Detention Facility in Newark, New Jersey. (ECF No. 1.) Petitioner alleges that he is a member of the a nationwide class in Maldonado Bautista v. Santacruz, that is detained without an individualized bond determination pursuant to Matter of Yajure Hurtado. Petitioner contends that his detention violates the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that Respondents shall SHOW CAUSE, no later than March 17, 2026, why the Petition for habeas corpus relief should not be granted. Petitioner may file a reply within three (3) business days after Respondents file their answer. Petitioner shall serve a copy of this Order and the habeas petition upon Respondents within two (2) business days of entry of this Order and promptly file proof of service on the docket.
