Stearns: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered re 8 Response to Order to Show Cause.Petitioner Henry Eduardo Gordillo Lopez, a Guatemalan citizen, was apprehended by border officials while crossing into the United States on February 28, 2024. Six days later, he was released on humanitarian parole under 8 U.S.C. § 1182(d)(5). On March 6, 2026, his parole was revoked, and his was taken back into custody.As the court previously noted, § 1182(d)(5) by its plain text provides for an alien to return "to the custody from which he was paroled" when, as here, parole is revoked. Petitioner has not identified any legal basis for the court may order a bond hearing for an individual detained upon entry into the country.
