Judge Myong J. Joun: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. In their Response to Habeas Petition, Respondents acknowledge that the legal issues presented in this petition are similar to those resolved in Siguenza v. Moniz, No. 25-cv-11914-ADB, 2025 WL 2734704, at *3 (D. Mass. Sep. 25, 2025). I agree with Judge Burroughs that “[8 U.S.C.] § 1231(a)(6) no longer authorizes Petitioner’s detention because there is no significant likelihood that he will be removed in the reasonably foreseeable future.” Given this, and in light of the record before me, the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus is GRANTED. The Court ORDERS that Mr. Sogso Toasa be released immediately. If there was a prior Order of Supervised Release, Mr. Sogso Toasa is to be released to those same conditions.(SKY) (Entered: 03/11/2026)
