PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE comes before the Court upon sua sponte review of the record. On March 4, 2026, Petitioner filed an Emergency Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus and Complaint for Injunctive Relief. ECF No. 1 . As an initial matter, the Court notes that the circumstances of this action do not warrant proceeding on an emergency basis, although the Court will provide expedited consideration of the Petition. In addition, Title 28, United States Code, Section 2242 provides that an "[a]pplication for a writ of habeas corpus shall be in writing signed and verified by the person for whose relief it is intended or by someone acting in his behalf." 28 U.S.C. § 2242. The Petition filed in the instant case is not verified. Accordingly, Petitioner is ORDERED to file a verification in compliance with 28 U.S.C. § 2242 by March 11, 2026.
