ELECTRONIC ORDER: Before the Court is Petitioner's Motion for Immediate Release, which requests the Court to expedite Petitioner's release pending the final outcome of his habeas corpus petition Doc. 1, or alternatively, to order an expedited bond hearing. A motion for expedited consideration is reserved for situations where a delay would cause significant, irreparable harm that cannot be remedied through ordinary judicial process. And the strict time limits of 28 U.S.C. § 2243 are subordinate to the Court's discretionary authority to set deadlines under Rule 4 of the Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases, which are applicable to petitions filed under Section 2241. Petitioner has not met his burden to show good cause to expedite a ruling. Therefore, Petitioner's Motion for Immediate Release is DENIED. (Ordered by Magistrate Judge Rebecca Rutherford on 4/23/2026) (chmb) (Entered: 04/23/2026)
