MINUTE ORDER issued by Courtroom Deputy for Chief Magistrate Judge Carolyn K. Delaney on 2/26/2026: Petitioner's 7 Request that Respondent be ordered to respond to the pending 1 Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus is GRANTED. Respondent shall file a response to the pending Petition within 7 (seven) days. Petitioner may file a reply within 7 (seven) days of the filing of the response. If the Clerk of the Court has not already done so, the Clerk shall serve a copy of Petitioner's Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus upon counsel for Respondent. Petitioner's 8 Motion to Proceed under a Pseudonym is GRANTED as Petitioner has adequately alleged the sensitive and highly personal nature of the facts at issue in his Petition, the prejudice to Respondents appears to be minimal, and the public's interest in open judicial proceedings is not meaningfully impaired by granting petitioner's motion. See Does I thru XXIII v. Advanced Textile Corp., 214 F.3d 1058, 1068 (9th Cir. 2000). Petitioner's request that all documents be filed under seal is DENIED as unnecessary as all documents filed in this action are restricted per court procedure. Respondent shall not disclose Petitioner's identity except as is necessary to respond to the 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus. (Text Only Entry) (Deputy Clerk LMK) (Entered: 02/26/2026)

Petitioner's counsel is DIRECTED to send a copy of the petition and motion as well as provide the Petitioner's full name and A number to the US Attorney's Office by February 27, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., at their email usacae.ecf2241-imm@usdoj.gov.
