TEXT ORDER. On February 20, 2026, Petitioner sought an order to show cause why he should not be provided a bond hearing, as a class member in two class actions: Maldonado Bautista v. Noem, No. 5:25-cv-01873-SSS-BFM, 2025 WL 3678485 (C.D. Cal. Dec. 18, 2025); and Guerrero Orellano v. Moniz, No. 25-CV-12664-PBS, 2025 WL 3687757 (D. Mass. Dec. 19, 2025). Dkt. 37. In its February 5, 2026 decision and order granting Respondents' motion to dismiss and denying the petition, the Court specified that its denial of the petition was "without prejudice to seeking--in these or other case(s)--any relief that might be available to [Petitioner] in Maldonado Bautista... and/or Guerrero Orellano...." Dkt. 35, at 3; see also id. at 5. By this, the Court meant that Petitioner may ask the Maldonado Bautista and/or Guerrero Orellano courts for the relief he requests here. In reaching its February 5 decision and order, this Court considered all arguments raised regarding purported class membership. Petitioner's most recent submission (Dkt. 37), which incorporates and restates those arguments, does not change this Court's decision at Dkt. 35. Any relief requested from this Court in Dkt. 37, therefore, is denied. Petitioner may raise these arguments elsewhere, if appropriate. SO ORDERED. Issued by Hon. John L. Sinatra, Jr., on 2/23/2026.
