(IN CHAMBERS) ORDER TEXT ONLY ENTRY by Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong:Petitioner, through counsel, filed an Ex Parte Motion for Temporary Restraining Order requesting his release and related relief. Dkt. No. 4 . Although Petitioner did not explicitly seek a preliminary injunction, this Court issued an order granting the TRO as requested and also ordered the Respondents to show cause as to why a preliminary injunction should not issue. Dkt. No. 11 . The Court ordered the parties to file a joint status report regarding Respondents' compliance with the TRO and set a briefing schedule for the OSC. Dkt. No. 11 . Respondents filed a status report advising that Petitioner was released in accordance with the TRO. Dkt. No. 12 . Respondents also filed a Response to the OSC arguing that Petitioners release rendered the contemplated preliminary injunctionand indeed the entire habeas petitionmoot. Dkt. No. 13 . Petitioner did not file a Reply in support of his initial Motion, did not participate in the status report regarding his relief, and did not file a Reply in support of the Order to Show Cause. The Court does not find that this case is moot, but it does appear that Petitioner does not wish to seek a preliminary injunction. Thus, the TRO is dissolved, the OSC is discharged, and no preliminary injunction shall issue. The parties are directed to follow the orders of the Magistrate Judge with respect to further proceedings. IT IS SO ORDERED. THERE IS NO PDF DOCUMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ENTRY.
