Mass.) class, no later than 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2026. District Judge Margaret R. Guzman: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered re 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus (2241). Petitioner Angel Medardo Puma Chimbolema challenges his immigration detention pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241 and seeks immediate release or a bond hearing. [ECF No. 1]. Without opposition from the Government and following the reasoning of several other sessions of this Court which have ordered bond hearings under § 1226(a) in similar circumstances, the Court reaches the same result here and GRANTS the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus to the extent it seeks a bond hearing [ECF Nos. 1, 9]. See, e.g., Electronic Order, Dias De Carvalho v. Hyde, No. 25-cv-12677-DJC (D. Mass. Nov. 4, 2025), Doc. No. 14; Romero v. Hyde, No. 25-cv11631-BEM, 795 F. Supp. 3d 271 (D. Mass. 2025); Gomes v. Hyde, No. 25-cv11571-JEK, 2025 WL 1869299 (D. Mass. Jul. 7, 2025). Petitioner's bond hearing has been set for Tuesday, March 2, 2026, at 9:00AM [ECF No. 9-1 at 1].
