MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 3/4/2026. Pending before the Court is the Federal Respondents' 4 Motion to Extend Time to File a Response to Petition. Federal Respondents seek an extension of seven days, explaining that Petitioner has a hearing scheduled before an Immigration Judge on March 5, 2026, the result of which they argue is important for preparing their Response. For good cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the 4 Motion for Extension of Time is GRANTED. A response is due by March 11, 2026, and a reply is due by March 18, 2026. IT IS FURTHER ORDERD that the Parties must file a Joint Status Report, no later than March 6, 2026, informing the Court of the outcome of the hearing in front of the Immigration Judge. Also pending before the Court is Petitioner's 5 Motion for Temporary Restraining Order, requesting emergency relief. In light of the allegation of unconstitutional detention, the Court agrees that the 5 Motion should be handled on an emergency basis. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Defendants shall have under March 11, 2026, to respond to the Motion for Temporary Restraining Order. Petitioner may file a Reply by March 18, 2026. (Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - ANH) (Entered: 03/04/2026)

MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 5/26/2026. The Court has issued an Order granting the 1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus, and Federal Respondents filed the 15 Status Report certifying that Petitioner was given a bond hearing in compliance with the Court's Order. Though Federal Respondents' status report is not a joint status report and therefore does not comply with the Court's Order requiring a joint status report, Petitioner's counsel has not filed any response or indicated that Petitioner was not in fact released on bond. Accordingly, the Clerk's Office is kindly directed to enter judgment in favor of Petitioner and close this case.(Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - ANH) (Entered: 05/26/2026)
