TEXT ORDER: This matter comes before the Court upon Petitioner's petition for writ of habeas corpus, writ of mandamus, and complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief (Petition) (ECF No. 1 ) and this Court's memorandum and order to show cause (OTSC) (ECF No. 2 ). In the OTSC, the Court temporarily restrained Respondents from transferring Petitioner from the District of New Jersey or removing him from the United States pending further order of this Court (TRO). (Id. at 2 .) Respondents filed a response (ECF No. 6 ), and Petitioner filed a reply (ECF No. 7 ). On this date, the Court held a show cause hearing. (ECF No. 8 .) For the reasons stated on the record at the show cause hearing, Petitioner's request for a preliminary injunction (ECF No. 1 ) is DENIED, and the TRO (ECF No. 2 at 2) is DISSOLVED. Within fourteen (14) days of the date of entry of this Text Order, Petitioner shall file a letter establishing why this Court should not dismiss or deny his Petition, raising any forms of relief, issues, or claims presented by the Petition that Petitioner believes the Court should address, and specifically addressing the status of Petitioner's mandamus claim. Respondents shall file a response to Petitioner's letter within fourteen (14) days of the filing of Petitioner's letter.
