ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE - The clerk is directed to add the U.S. Attorney General as a respondent. See Rule 4, Rues Governing § 2254 Cases ("In every case, the clerk must serve a copy of the petition and any order on the respondent and on the attorney general or other appropriate officer of the state involved."); Rule ("The district court may apply any or all of these rules to a habeas corpus petition" not brought under § 2254.). The respondents are notified of the filing of the petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. This material has been scanned into the Court's electronic docket. A copy of this Order to Show Cause, the petition, and exhibits shall be distributed electronically to the United States Attorney.
