ORDER: Respondents represent in their letter response to the Petition that "[a]ttached to this letter are the Form I-200, Warrant of Arrest, dated January 31, 2026, the Form I-862, Notice to Appear[,] and [the] Form I-220A, Order of Release on Recognizance." (ECF No. 7 .) However, Respondents failed to attach any records to their letter response, notwithstanding the Courts February 13, 2026 Order to Show Cause, which clearly and unambiguously ordered Respondents to submit "all records material to resolution of this action." (ECF No. 3.) Respondents must therefore submit these records by 10:00 a.m. today, February 14, 2026. Ordered by Judge Nusrat J. Choudhury on 2/14/2026. (JEG)

ORDER: The Court has received Respondents' letter confirming that Petitioner was released yesterday, February 15, 2026 at approximately 2:30 p.m. (ECF No. 10 .) Although the Court's Memorandum and Order made unambiguously clear that Respondents were to "release Petitioner with all of his belongings that are in Respondents' possession, including but not limited to identification cards, clothing, and money," Respondents failed to return Petitioner's social security card and work authorization. (ECF No. 9 (emphasis added); ECF No. 10.) While the Court appreciates that counsel for Respondents has reached out to ICE with regard to return of these documents, the Court is concerned by Respondents' failure to abide by this Court's clear and unambiguous order. Respondents must therefore file a status letter by tomorrow, February 16, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., confirming that Petitioner's social security card and work authorization have been returned. Ordered by Judge Nusrat J. Choudhury on 2/15/2026. (JEG)

ORDER: The Counsel for Respondents at the U.S. Attorney's Office is required to facilitate the return of the identification cards by 5:00 p.m. today and will confirm that this has been accomplished with a letter to the Court. Respondents' letter (ECF No. 11 ) indicates that counsel at the U.S. Attorney's Office simply connected agency counsel with Petitioner's counsel, which does not discharge Respondents' responsibilities. Ordered by Judge Nusrat J. Choudhury on 2/17/2026. (JEG)
