Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2242, all "[a]pplications for a writ of habeas corpus [must] be in writing signed and verified by the person for whose relief it is intended or by someone acting in his behalf." 28 U.S.C. § 2242. Mr. Carrillo-Figueroa's Petition is not properly verified.Therefore, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED Petitioner must re-file his Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus with a proper verification statement by February 12, 2026. Petitioner can do so by using the "Notice of Corrected Image/Document" event.
