TEXT ORDER: This matter comes before the Court on a Petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241 (ECF No. 1 ) and a motion for an Order to Show Cause to enjoin Petitioner's transfer from Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey and set an expedited briefing schedule. (ECF No. 2 .) The Petition alleges "upon information and belief" that Petitioner is detained at Delaney Hall (ECF No. 1, Petition at 3) but does not provide Petitioner's country of citizenship, and the Court is unable to confirm where he is detained. It is hereby ORDERED that Respondents are temporarily enjoined from transferring Petitioner from his current detention facility. Respondents shall provide the name and location of that detention facility in writing by Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Respondents shall file their response to the Petition within 14 days, and Petitioner may file a reply within 7 days thereafter. So Ordered by Judge Robert Kirsch on 01/16/2026.
