ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE AND SETTING BRIEFING SCHEDULE. The respondents are ordered to file an answer that shows cause why the petitioner's writ should not be granted by no later than November 3, 2025. The petitioner may file a reply to the respondents' answer by no later than November 17, 2025. In addition, the respondents are ordered to file, by no later than 5:00 p.m. CT on October 17, 2025, a notice addressing whether the government will commit not to remove the petitioner pending the Court's resolution of the petitioner's habeas petition (Dkt. ORDER SETTING HEARING. Before the Court is attorney John M. Brays motion for leave to file a corrected habeas petition (Dkt. No. 16 ) and Response (Dkt. No. 15 ) to this Court's Order to Show Cause (Dkt. No. 14 ). The motion (Dkt. No. 16 ) is granted. For the reasons set forth below, however, the Court finds it necessary to conduct an in-person hearing to properly account for the issues identified in the Court's Order to Show Cause.
