VIRTUAL ORDER: denying 2 MOTION for James Michael Showalter to Appear Pro Hac Vice by Pierol Gianpierre Valverde Serrato. The Motion to admit James Michael Showalter pro hac vice, 2, is DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE because it does not comply with the Local Rules. Local Rule 83.2(a)(1) requires a motion for admission pro hac vice to identify each Bar in which the attorney is a member. Here, Movant Showalter indicates that he is a member in good standing of the bars of West Virginia, Virginia, New York, and Michigan. His motion does not affirmatively state that he is a member of the Illinois bar, but a certificate of good standing from the Illinois bar is nevertheless attached to his motion. Mr. Showalter should clarify this point in a subsequent motion for admission pro hac vice. In addition, Local Rule 83.2(a)(4) states that a motion for admission pro hac vice must identify the method of training completed by the attorney before use of the Courts electronic filing system. Mr. Showalter's motion states that he has been trained on the use of CM/ECF and has a working familiarity with CM/ECF. Be that as it may, the Local Rule requires him to identify the method by which he was trained, not merely whether he was trained. Mr. Showalter may file another motion for admission pro hac vice that clarifies these points and contains all the information required by the Locals Rules.Signed by District Judge S.
