ORDER: On June 22, 2025, Petitioner-Plaintiff Ward Sakeik filed her Verified Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus and Complaint for Declaratory and Injunctive Relief (Doc. No. 1) alleging, generally, that her continued detention and attempted deportation are unlawful. Petitioner-Plaintiff also filed an Emergency Motion for Temporary Restraining Order (Doc. No. 2), requesting the Court forbid Respondents-Defendants from further detaining Petitioner-Plaintiff and forbid Respondents-Defendants from removing Petitioner-Plaintiff from the United States or moving her out of the Northern District of Texas.Respondents-Defendants or any officer, agent, servant, employee, attorney, or representative acting on behalf of Respondents-Defendants SHALL NOT take any further action or steps to deport or remove Petitioner from the United States to another country, territory, or foreign territory, or to circumvent the provisions of this Order until the Court rules on the pending Emergency Motion for Temporary Restraining Order and the underlying Petition.Counsel for Petitioner-Plaintiff is DIRECTED to notify the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas of her lawsuit and of this Order.
