MINUTES OF Zoom Hearing held before Magistrate Judge Brianna Fuller Mircheff. All parties appear via Zoom. Court and counsel discuss. With respect to Petitioners Chacon and Ma, Petitioners' counsel confirms that, in light of Respondents' concession on the Maldonado Bautista claim, they will ask that briefing on the other claims be held in abeyance. The Court takes those Petitioners' claims under submission. Should the Court issue an order granting a bond hearing, Petitioners' counsel shall file a status report NO LATER THAN MARCH 9, 2026, indicating whether the remaining claims can be dismissed without prejudice. With respect to Petitioner Banchon, the Court orders further briefing: Respondents shall file a supplemental brief regarding the factual basis for their claim that Banchon's case falls under the Lakin Riley Act, and also addressing Petitioner's claim that the Lakin Riley Act would be unconstitutional as applied to Banchon NO LATER THAN MARCH 5, 2026.
