TEXT ORDER - Before the Court is Petitioner's Motion for Return to New Jersey. (See ECF No. 19 .) On February 20, 2026, the Court granted Petitioner's habeas petition under 8 U.S.C. 2241 and ordered Respondents to provide him with an individualized bond hearing. (See ECF No. 7 .) At the same time, the Court closed this matter. (See id.) On May 30, 2025, Petitioner subsequently filed a document (ECF No. 14 ) that the Court has construed as a Motion to Enforce, challenging the fundamental fairness of his Court-ordered bond hearing. (See ECF No. 17 .) On June 17, 2026, the Court reopened this matter and provided Respondents with fourteen days to file a response to Petitioner's Motion to Enforce. (See id.) Petitioner has now filed a Motion for Return to New Jersey, submitting that on June 9, 2026, before the Court reopened this matter, Respondents transferred Petitioner to Florence Service Processing Center in Florence, Arizona. (ECF No. 19 .) As this matter was closed at the time of Petitioner's transfer, Respondents were not enjoined from transferring him from New Jersey. As such, the Court will deny his Motion to Return to New Jersey without prejudice. However, the Court will enjoin his transfer from his current detention facility in Arizona pending a decision on his Motion to Enforce. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that Petitioner's Motion for Return to New Jersey (ECF No. 19 ) is DENIED without prejudice. It is further ORDERED that Respondents are enjoined from transferring Petitioner from his current detention facility until further order from the Court.
