(Doc. 10 .) Respondents have filed a status report stating that the "Department of Homeland Security released Petitioner from its custody on February 4, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., in Minnesota." TEXT ORDER: On February 11, 2026, the Court presided over a video conference hearing. Pursuant to the hearing, Respondents are directed to provide affidavits of government officials to the Court and Petitioner's counsel on or before February 13, 2026, identifying who is responsible for ensuring the return of Petitioner's property and the steps that have been taken to ensure the return of Petitioner's property. The affidavits shall include relevant email communications, detail all communications involving the return of property, and identify all individuals at ERO and OPLA who were provided information about the Court's order. Additionally, Respondents' counsel shall provide the Court with a copy of the ICE internal policy on retaining foreign issued identification documents. The Court further finds that Respondents have waived their argument on retaining foreign issued identification documents in this case. The parties may consult the transcript for further details.
