MINUTE ORDER (Text Entry Only) On May 5, 2026, the Court received a request for a temporary restraining order in this closed case. (Doc. 20 .) It argues that Petitioner's due process rights have been violated because he has been detained for more than six months without being provided a bond hearing. (Id. at 3 .) The Court already addressed the merits of that claim and granted Petitioner's request for a bond hearing. (See Docs. 15, 17.) On April 10, 2026, Respondents filed notice that the bond hearing had been provided and that the IJ declined to release Petitioner on bond. (Doc. 19 .) To the extent Petitioner is attempting to challenge the outcome of that proceeding, he offers no basis upon which the Court could do so. In granting the writ of habeas corpus, the Court ordered a process, not an outcome. Complaints about the conclusion the IJ reached must be presented through the normal immigration appeal process. Thus, his motion for a TRO is DENIED signed by District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston on May 5, 2026. (Deputy Clerk IM) (Entered: 05/05/2026)
