(Text-Only) ORDER FOR PARTY TO FILE DOCUMENT/RESPOND TO COURT. On January 26, 2026, the Court ordered 4 Respondents to show cause for Petitioner's detention by January 29, 2026, and the Court gave Petitioner until January 31, 2026 to file a reply. Petitioner has not filed a reply. However, the Court notes that in their Response to the petition 6, the government argues primarily that Petitioner is subject to mandatory detention under 8 U.S.C. § 1225(b)(1)(B). (Dkt. 6 at 2-4.) Because Petitioner has not yet weighed in on this specific argument, Petitioner is hereby instructed to file a reply addressing Respondents' argument concerning the applicability of § 1225(b)(1)(B) to Petitioner no later than February 12, 2026. Ordered by Judge Katherine M. Menendez on 2/9/2026.(LC1) (Entered: 02/09/2026)
