ORDER granting in part 19 Petitioner's Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time to Seek Attorney's Fees ("Motion"). The Motion is GRANTED IN PART for good cause shown. The statutory timeframes Petitioner references in his Motion set the latest times EAJA motions can be filed. Nothing in the statute precludes a court from setting earlier filing deadlines. Moreover, the timeframe Petitioner proposes is unworkable from the perspective of the efficient administration of the Court's workload and docket. Solely in the interest of justice, however, the Court will allow Petitioner additional time to file his Motion for Attorney's Fees ("Fee Motion"). Said Fee Motion must be filed by no later than March 4, 2026. Respondents shall file their Response to the Fee Motion by no later than March 20, 2026. Petitioner shall file his Reply in support of his Fee Motion by no later than March 27, 2026. SO ORDERED by Judge William J. Martinez on 2/19/2026. Text Only Entry(wjmja, ) (Entered: 02/19/2026)
