MINUTES IN CHAMBERS-COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson. On July 9, 2026, Petitioner Reagli Borici ("Petitioner") filed a Consent to Proceed before the Magistrate Judge. (Docket No. 31.) The Court issued a text only entry accepting this consent and reassigning the case to the Magistrate Judge on July 15, 2026. (Docket No. 34.) However, because this Petition was filed prior to the issuance of General Order No. 26-05 on April 1, 2026, the consent is not effective until the respondents file a response to Petitioner's Consent to Proceed before the Magistrate Judge. In light of the procedure now established in the General Order for immigration habeas cases, deeming the government to having consented to Magistrate Judge jurisdiction unless it withdraws consent, the Court will deem the government to have consented to the Magistrate Judge's jurisdiction in this case unless it files an objection within three days of the date of this order. The Court strikes the July 15, 2026 text only entry reassigning the case. (aco) (Entered: 07/16/2026)
