(Text-Only) ORDER: In an Order dated January 24, 2026, the Court Ordered that "(1) Respondents shall return Petitioner to the District of Minnesota immediately at Respondents' expense and no further transfers shall be made absent express written court authorization; and (2) Respondents shall show cause, on or before January 27, 2026, why they should not be held in contempt for violating the Court's January 23, 2026, Order." The Respondents have filed a declaration (Doc. # 9 ) stating that Petitioner was moved prior to their knowledge of the January 23, 2026 Order, and that Petitioner has been transferred back to Minnesota. Upon review, and based on the declaration, the Court declines to find Respondents in contempt or enter sanctions against them. Ordered by Visiting Judge Stephen R. Bough on 1/27/2026.
