MINUTE ORDER (Text Entry Only) The Court has reviewed the Petition filed under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 (Doc. 1) and the related request for emergency injunctive relief (Doc. 10). Petitioner asserts that he has been detained since August 5, 2025 (Doc. 10 at 2), more than 7 months ago. He was denied bond a few weeks ago based upon the Immigration Judge's determination that she lacked jurisdiction. (Doc. 10 at 5; Doc. 8-2) Petitioner does not explain his delay in seeking his request for a temporary restraining order or why despite this delay, the Court should treat the situation as an emergency. The opposition to the petition has been filed and the Court expects to rule on the rule soon. Thus, the TRO request is untimely, and it is DENIED. Local Rule 231(b) signed by District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston on March 10, 2026. (Deputy Clerk IM) (Entered: 03/10/2026)
