EO: On January 15, 2026, the Court received a Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus ("Petition") filed under 28 U.S.C. § 2243, seeking inter alia "immediate release [of Petitioner], or, at minimum, a prompt custody redetermination (bond hearing) before an immigration judge." ECF No. 1 at PageID.8. Petitioner's counsel is hereby DIRECTED to: (1) serve Respondents, no later than close of business January 16, 2026, with a copy of the Petition and all accompanying papers, along with a copy of this Entering Order, by overnight mail and by e-mail to all appropriate recipients, including the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Hawaii; and (2) immediately file proof of such service. Counsel for Respondents shall promptly enter notices of appearance in this case.
