ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE - The Respondents are notified of the filing of the petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. The Petitioner contends that she is detained pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1226 and therefore at the direction of the U.S. Attorney General. Therefore, the clerk is directed to add U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi to the docket as a respondent. The clerk is directed to issue process by mail to the Clark County Respondents. The Respondents will have through January 15, 2026, to answer the allegations of the habeas petition and show cause why the relief sought by the Petitioner should not be granted.
