MINUTE ORDER issued by Magistrate Judge Chi Soo Kim on 5/29/2026. Since the filing of Petitioner's Motion to Compel the government to serve Respondents' opposition to Petitioner's preliminary injunction motion filed on January 19, 2026 (ECF No. 10 ), Petitioner filed a response indicating that he received Respondents' opposition. See Petitioner's Opposition to Respondents' Motion to Dismiss (ECF No. 17 at 1). Though Respondents served its filing on Petitioner late and Respondents are reminded of their obligation to simultaneously serve pro se petitioners with all their filings through conventional means and to file their Certificate of Service with their filing as an attachment. Petitioner received Respondents' opposition and was able to respond to it. (ECF No. 17 at 1) Therefore, Petitioner's Motion to Compel (ECF No. 13 ) is DENIED as moot. The Court notes that since the filing of Petitioner's motion to compel, Petitioner's motion to appoint counsel was granted, counsel was appointed, and counsel is now representing Petitioner in this action such that service on Petitioner is accomplished through CM/ECF per the Local Rules. (Text Only Entry) (Deputy Clerk AW) (Entered: 05/29/2026)
